In 2017, the enthusiasm for a cappella music brought together six young singers from Leipzig. Characterized by the width of the choir landscape in Leipzig, the St. Thomas choir and the University of Music and Theater ”Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy”, the ensemble is dedicated to a broad musical spectrum, with particular focus on works from the 20th and 21st centuries as well as early music. In diversified sacred programs, mu-sical works that are very rarely performed can be discovered. In addition, the vocal sextet enthuses in its secular concerts with lively madrigals of the Renaissance as well as arrangements of well-known pop songs from the last decades.
